Mrs. Nancy Lockhart
Nancy Lockhart is a seasoned executive with particular expertise in operations, marketing, compensation, and risk management. She is Chief Administrative Officer of the Frum Development Group where she is responsible for shaping the company’s administrative and operations departments. She spent many years in the retail business, including seven years with Shoppers Drug Mart where she held the positions of Vice-President, Retail Development and Vice-President of Operations. She has also held the position of Network Partner, Brewer’s Retail and Chief Operating Officer of Jumbo Video.
Since 1995 Ms. Lockhart has been a board member of Loblaw Companies Limited where she chairs the Environmental Health and Safety Committee and sits on the Governance, Employee Development, Nominating and Compensation Committee.
She served as a director of Retirement Residence REIT, now a private company, and was a member of the Audit Committee, the Governance and Nominating Committee and the Customer Care Committee.
Ms. Lockhart has been involved in many charitable activities. She currently sits on the boards of the CAMH Foundation and FAV - the Anti-Viral Foundation.. She served for 8 years as chair of The Ontario Science Centre, is past chair of The Canadian Film Centre and a past president of The Canadian Club of Toronto. She has performed hands on volunteer work with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta and Toronto and with Casey House in Toronto.
Ms. Lockhart resides in Toronto and is married to Dr. Murray Frum with whom she shares 3 children and 7 grandchildren. She was awarded the Order of Ontario in l996.
