Mr. Rod Bell
After graduating from Queen’s University with an Honors Economics degree, Rod began a career in marketing with package goods giant Colgate-Palmolive. At Colgate, Rod worked on several products including the flagship product, Colgate toothpaste. He then took this expertise on the road and introduced to the Toronto market Video-Van-Go, a video delivery business.
Following this venture, he took on the investment industry, marketing commercial real estate to institutional investors.
In 1994, Rod founded Channel 500, an independent, below-the-line marketing communications agency with roots in Direct Response TV, radio, print and online. The agency has serviced such clients as: Nature Conservancy, Greenpeace, Christian Children’s Fund, Scotiabank, Bank of Montreal, Bell Express Vu, British Telecom, Ford, IBM, Kitchen Aid, Rogers, Royal Bank and Star Choice to name a few.
Rod’s love for marketing is only matched by his desire to help make a difference in those less fortunate groups within any society. The Belinda Stronach Foundation is the perfect vehicle to do just that.
