Mr. Kevin Fairs

As director and head of training for Canadian Banking and Global Wealth Management, Kevin leads a senior team of leaders in performance consulting, leadership development and training. Collectively, his team is responsible for providing leadership development and training to over 35,000 employees at all levels in the bank.

Kevin joined Scotiabank in July 2004 with a strategic focus on sales, marketing and business development training within the Global Wealth Management businesses.

A former financial advisor himself, Kevin has over fifteen years of financial sales, marketing and business development experience in Canada, the U.K. and the United States. Kevin has worked for Fortune 500 companies including the Walt Disney World Corporation, British Airways, Santander Bank (Europe’s largest bank) and Lloyds Bank (the U.K. largest bank). 

Prior to joining Scotia Bank Group, Kevin worked for a wealth management company in London (U.K.) as regional manager for sales development.

Kevin sits on the board of Charity Communications Network and he is past chair of governance for the National Youth Orchestra of Canada.
